The Dress

I'm happy for you to come and see the dress in my home before buying.

This is a lovely, summery, light dress - ideal for a destination wedding. I loved the lace bodice, which is a bit different and got lots of compliments on my wedding day. The shape of the dress is also very flattering and great for accentuating your waist.

It's very comfortable to wear and easy to move in. You don't need to wear shaping underwear with it and I didn't wear a bra as there are cups sewn in. I got married during a heatwave and didn't feel too hot wearing it. The dress has a short sweep train, which makes it more bridal but is easier to manage than a long train.

The dress has been professionally cleaned. You can see some slight discolouration on the inside of the underskirt hem, but this is not visible when you're wearing it. The dress has no other flaws and is in excellent condition. The photos of it hanging up are from after it was cleaned. I had a late afternoon wedding so it was not even worn for a full day.

Alterations

I ordered the dress with less tulle underskirts than the sample dress, to make it lighter and easier to move in.

The train was shortened to make it a sweep train. Bust cups were sewn in to the bodice, these can be easily removed/replaced.

There are loops sewn in to the underskirt so you can hold up the train and my seamstress also added a bustle (this isn't visible if you don't want to use it).

No other alterations were made, it fitted really well.
