The Dress

I bought my Eddy K Salma, made-to-order, new directly from the Eddy K authorized bridal retail shop in May 2022. I absolutely loved my dress - I spent months searching and was very thoughtful about my dress decision and this Eddy K dress was so timeless and elegant. I received so many compliments on my dress on my wedding day. I really wanted to keep this dress as it was so beautiful and fit like a glove (I felt like a ballerina!). But selling to make space in my closet.

Color, as shown in the label, is Ivory/Champagne/Skin with hand-made beautiful sequins, beaded embroidery that sparkles with sunlight, and buttons along the train. It was so elegant - just look at the bodice and you'll know what I mean. The fitted low back made me feel like a ballerina. This dress was originally above my budget and I was almost going to go with a different Eddy K dress with tulle lace only but the beads just stole my heart. The dress glimmers beautifully and is perfect for an outdoor ceremony.

I wore this dress only once during my ceremony and received so many compliments on the dress. My dress is in excellent condition with no tears, stains, or even signs of wear. I loved this dress so much that I didn't want to change out of it for the reception. I'm also selling my Made with Love (Riley) dress with tulle wings (retail $2900) that I wore for my reception.

For what it's worth, my now husband and I had the most amazing, grand, and elegant wedding (that our friends couldn't stop talking about) and our relationship is loving and supportive - so the dress definitely has good energy.

Alterations

$600 was spent on alternations to adjust the length of the dress, add a bustle with crystal, and take in the waist. All these alterations (except the length) can all be undone to better fit any body type that is US size 0/2.

For reference, I'm 5'3 (wore 3.5in heels), wear 34B/C in bra size, and usually XS/S in street clothing.
