The Dress
The dress is a gorgeous Stephanie Allin "Georgia" with a bespoke neckline and back. The added detail allowed for a bit more coverage for a larger chest ( which could be removed or altered) and a beautiful customized back. The dress was a dream and has been fully cleaned.
I met Stephanie when I chose this dress it’s such a special dress… and I worked with a wonderful seamstress to customise the top of the dress!
Alterations
The Dress was a 14 and then taken in (I lost weight) to the current size (street size 12). My measurements that it was taken to are
Bust 101cm
Under Bust 83cm
Waist 84.5cm
Hip 103cm
Lower hip 108.5cm
I also had it made without the heavy petticoat (as was suggested by the designer Stephanie Allin when I met her). This way it flows easily and is much lighter and whimsical
It was hemmed slightly and I have all extra material from alterations. There are some small tears around the hen where my heel caught up in the dress but otherwise in excellent shape.
