The Dress

My beautiful worn-once Madi Lane Matilda designer wedding dress in Ivory colour. In excellent, clean, like-new condition. No tears or marks.
I'm usual size 16+ but bridal dresses can sometimes be smaller because of thickness of material, so needed size 18 in the dress to fit. You'll love how beautiful and confident you'll feel in this gorgeous dress with her playful, flowy, long train skirt, her off the shoulder flute sleeves, cheeky mesh and sheer, floral speckled design.
I felt like a billion dollars in this dress. A real Bohemian Bride. After trying on at least 30 different dresses from different stores, I knew this one was the one. Showed off every curve of my body in all the right ways. Gorgeous design with a floral speckled 3D look in the lace. Paid $3099 in total (including $800 dollars worth of alterations to lift the breasts, added flute sleeves and make the train more sheer). Detailing in the dress is stunning. The bodice is a built in bra with a wide elastic band that clips on the inside around the back to tighten, shape and pull you in at the waist, so the dress gives a flattering figure and will not fall down! (No bra needed).
It has a thin strip of invisible mesh at the front, so gives a nice deep v-line while still staying classy.
I bought the dress brand new from Accapella Bridal Wollongong NSW. The owner is a bridal seamstress of over 20+ years experience specialising in bridal dress alterations and did the amazing job on even the hardest bridal dress alterations.

Alterations

$800 alterations to add: Flowy Flute sleeves (made from the same lace material as the dress, *material was bought separately) were altered onto the dress by a professional bridal seamstress to give it an off-the-shoulder look and to cover the upper arms. If you are a bit self conscious of your arms like I am then this is a win. No frumpyness. (Flute sleeves can be professionally removed if wanting the original strapless look)(extra material used for the sleeves will come FREE with the dress incase it may be needed to do alterations with it, if you wish. Could even be used to make a matching Veil)
One inner layer of material was removed from the underneath lining of the dress to make it lighter in weight so it wasn't as heavy and to make the dress move more freely, giving that flowy swishy look. It also made it easier to move around in without extra weight pulling on you. Taking an inner layer out also gave it a more sheer-looking appearance in the light without it being see-through. Had the solid, thick fabric material trimmed from the train part of the dress. I did this so you could especially see every detail of the lace in the train as you walk or when the train is flared out. Whereas before, the material was so thick, it made it hard to see that lace detailing and took away from the beauty of the dress. Had the busterior pulled in further to make sure there was extra support and lift for the breast area, even for heavier busts that need support. (The alterations did not change the sizing or fit of the dress) All alterations were done by a professional bridal seamstress with 25+ years experience.
