The Dress
Traditional glamour with a modern twist, this soft and captivating vintage wedding dress from Essense of Australia is full of classic charm. Full coverage long sleeves feature a mix of French and cotton-style laces, artfully layered for dimension and effortlessly complementing the sheer side cutouts. The bodice is showered in glamorous scrolling laces, as glistening beadwork is concentrated toward the center point for a figure-enhancing effect. Lace extends through the low hip area over the slightly fitted skirt of soft stretch crepe, adding a hint of sexiness. Scalloped edging along the shorter, laser-cut train adds an artistic flair while maintaining manageability. This wedding dress style is also available without sleeves, and can be ordered with or without beading. This dress has only been worn once, for my wedding a few weeks ago.
Alterations
Minor alterations were done, including a slight hem (I am 5’ 5” with shoes on); straps were adjusted slightly, and the sleeves were removed. I still have the sleeves - a tailor can easily add them back on.
