Georgia Young Couture, Prosecco

This handmade Prosecco gown from the Georgia Young Couture Summer Wine collection is the most perfect, fitted, structured, sparkling dress that made me feel amazing on my wedding day, which is something I wasn't sure was possible. It's boned through the top so holds everything in place flawlessly (even when 14DD) and skims the hips and legs with a soft silk with lining over the top which is strewn with scattered little white stars, flowers and small white sequins. This is repeated on the sash that crosses from the bust around the top of the arms and hooks together at the back. Though my photos were taken at 4pm, the silk of the dress actually glows in the golden hour around sunset.
I tried lots of dresses before I found Georgia Young's boutique in Carlton, and the relief I felt when I put this flattering, elegant, sparkling gown on was just amazing.
It's been modified from the original Prosecco design by closing the keyhole in the bust you can see on Georgia's website and widening the sash that covers the arms. It's been professionally dry cleaned but there's a tiny bit of wear on the train that is only noticeable on close examination.
