The Dress
I bought two dresses for my wedding; one I fell in love with pre-pandemic, and this one post-pandemic. The designer is Eswenna Chanz, a Chinese designer, which means their size 8 is different from a US size 8. I loved how this fitted me like a glove, the lace and beading detail were amazing, and the train is beautiful. I think this is more of a mermaid style dress even though the flare started slightly above the knee because it will limit your stride and it may be difficult to sit down initially; however, both issues were resolved after a round or two of practice walking down the aisle and sitting on a chair. I wore this dress during the ceremony and the dinner part of reception and did not have any issues with it at all. A bustle was not added to this dress as I had a different dress for dancing.
Alterations
Dress has been slightly hemmed, then taken in at the bust, waist, and hips to in enhance the curve of my body.
