The Dress

The Galia Lahav Gia is a stunning silk tulle dress. My wedding was in June 2022. It was the third dress I tried on and nothing else compared. It's got beautiful crystal encrusted floral appliqués on top of silk tulle. The dress has so many layers (6!) and yet it's still feels light and airy. This dress is the traditional ivory version (it also comes in blush). I added off the shoulder straps and a lace up corset back. The removable straps are amazing and allows you to have different looks for the ceremony and the reception.

I'm 101 lbs with C cups, 5'0", and wore 5" heels. It's hemmed to my height with a 5 point bustle. I shortened the corset by an inch to better fit my torso so that it doesn't poke my thighs when sitting down. The dress is also taken in on the bodice -- these could be let out. The lace up back means that it can fit a wider range of body sizes. The dress has been dry cleaned. The dress includes the off the shoulder straps that are shown in the pictures. The veil is not included.

Alterations

I added a corset lace up back, removable off the shoulder sleeves with the same champagne beaded appliqué, the sides of the bodice were taken in, 2 inner layers of silk lining in the skirt (it's sheer otherwise!), inner cups to the bust, and a 5 point bustle. One of the bustle loops broke, but could be easily fixed by a tailor. The edge hem on the inner silk lining ripped, but it's not visible from the outside and was one of the added layers of lining. The dress is hemmed to my height.
