Strapless, satin A-line design with structured bodice, elegant draping, dramatic left leg slit, back button detail, and sweeping train. It is the perfect balance of modern and classic - retro glam but understated and sexy all at once.
I was convinced I would end up with a sheath gown which aligns more with my day-to-day style but the "Larissa" was so flattering and bridal while still being sexy, fun, and bold - it immediately won me over. I wore it with baby blue block heels and a dainty choker to play up the retro vibes.
Recently dry-cleaned and in nearly perfect shape. I wore it for a very brief ceremony and half of our reception at which point I changed into a linen jumper for comfort.
Alterations
Minor alterations include:
- Seams brought in ~1/4" on each side at the level of the bust (I am a 32B)
- Train shortened to sweep the floor (drapes SO beautifully!)
