The Dress
This is an A-line mikado satin bridal gown with front ruched detail. It has an asymmetric draped V-neckline that leads to a natural waistline and pockets. There is a beautiful V-back and buttons to the end of the chapel length train.
This dress is a timeless classic! So many dresses I tried on felt like they were wearing me, but in this dress I found the simplicity and elegance made me feel stunning.
It was incredibly comfortable to wear. No tugging on a boobtube top; completely secure in the bra area. My arms were free to move, and there was even a bit of give at the tummy area for after dinner time. The dress swirls beautifully on the dancefloor, and it has pockets!
There are no visible flaws, only one small tear on one of the petticoat layers.
Alterations
The shoulder straps were shortened slightly. The built-in bra had a few stitches to make it more secure. The hem was put up to suit my height. A bussell was added at the back - the train is able to be put up for ease of dancing.
