The Dress

As seen on @moniquelhuillierbride’s Instagram account, these photos of mine were featured! This Monique Lhuillier dress features thin spaghetti straps, a scoop neck, low back and hand appliquéd floral lace all over. Layered on top of it is a bolero that I’m quite hesitant to let go of. It is the most beautiful wedding gown I’ve ever laid eyes on and I’m so lucky to have worn this on my big day. I hope someone else can bring new life to it after me!

There are two shades for Maeve by Monique Lhuillier (blush and ivory) - I specifically chose ivory as I preferred white for my wedding day.

For reference, I am 175cm, and wore a 7cm heel on my wedding day. My waist hovers around 25”-26” depending on the time of day and the waist portion of this dress is just perfect for me, unaltered. The hip measurement does not matter for this dress.

Alterations

The dress is in its original condition as I have not hemmed, removed any fabric nor added anything to it. The only alteration done was to shorten the spaghetti straps slightly, but it can be returned to the original strap length by releasing the threads inside.
