The Dress

A delicate ivory lace Delphine Manivet Fall 2014 collection 'Pascal' wedding dress. Slightly a-line, with a gorgeous wrap-over lace back and bow. It has three light layers - the lace, then a shift in the same colour, and then a silk slip dress under it so that the dress doesn't catch and falls well once on. It sits above the knee (in my case, only just, as I'm 5'2). It's an ideal dress for a spring or summer city wedding, it feels traditional and yet very contemporary. I loved wearing it, as it was incredibly comfortable, but it is also flattering and very chic!
It has a couple of very small marks (pin head size)on the bow and on the shift dress.
Bought in Browns. It comes in a Browns and a Delphine Manivet dust cover/protector.
I will be taking it to the cleaners again before I eventually sell it and send it, as a re-fresh.

Alterations

The bow has been pinned to the dress so that it stays flat. Also, I had the bust pinned in a little so that it fit me better - but this can be take out again if needed.
