The Dress

Eva Lendel Alegra dress (size 36) from the Less is More Collection. See company website for size guide. Ordered size based on my measurements, but was tight, so let out a half inch in the ribs/waist by seamstress at bridal boutique. (Alterations $750- not included in original purchase price listed)

Material Mikado satin has an elegant slight shine and is more ivory. Bow in back is designed to lay in a delicate fashion, not crisply sticking out. Gown is strapless, but with a lower back. Dress layer has a slight train that I had a button/loop sewn in to tack up when bustled (American bustle style). The cathedral train (I think it's 90"?) that flows beautifully when you walk is sewn into the dress, but a seamstress can remove it if desired.

Due to the nature of the fabric, I added a French Bustle (ties on underside not buttons outside) to the outer train to avoid having button loops on the outside of the train as with American bustle. This is an unbelievable dress! 

I did a dress change for the reception, so wear was minimal prior to cleaning. Professionally dry cleaned (cost $280).

Alterations

Alterations performed by seamstress at bridal shop:
Let out 0.5” in the rib/waist. Dress hemmed for floor length for 5’5” frame wearing 4” heels (no additional fabric to make it longer). Total alterations $750 not included in total retail price listed.
