The Dress

This dress is a gorgeous Justin Alexander, with an elegant fit and flare style and stunning feather beading on the back. The high boat neck is sophisticated and the low back adds a sexy twist to the gown.

I purchased this dress as my evening gown at my first dress shop visit. I loved the feather style beading on the back and how flattering the dress was on my figure. I bought it that day as the dress was about to be sent back to the designer and wouldn’t be available at that store again. This dress was sold at a sample sale price of £1000. It has since been unworn and kept in the dress bag ahead of selling it here.

The reason I am selling is because I then found another gown that I preferred for the evening, that was more of a contrast to my ceremony gown.

The dress fit really well, not too tight but I would have had the waist and shoulder altered to fit me perfectly. The gown felt elegant and classically timeless. I hope this dress finds a bride who feels just a beautiful when the put it on.

The beading on the back can be removed easily for alterations, so it shouldn’t to be too expensive to alter to fit you. On one side of the gown the top layer of beading is beginning to come away from the dress, but this would be adjusted in alterations anyway, so I don’t see this as a problem.

I live in Australia but the gown was bought in the UK and is currently at my mums house in Hertfordshire, who will arrange the postage.

Measurements included are my measurements, not those of the dress. As you can see there is a clip on the waist and the shoulders where I would have had it altered.
