The Dress

This is a haute couture custom made Alin Le’Kal gown. I originally purchased this for my May 2020 wedding which unfortunately did not go ahead due to Covid. As it was a custom gown, I had paid up front for it and as such could not return / get a refund when the wedding did not go ahead. It was worn for a few hours (photo shoot and a cocktail event - both same day) - later I changed into a different outfit as I knew I wanted to sell the dress. The dress was finished in Feb 2021 (which is when the event/photoshoot took place), due to shipping delays and the designer boutique being shut down during the multiple lockdowns. The outer layer fabric is a hand beaded imported custom tulle (beads, crystals and pearls all over) with 3 further layers of tulle underneath to create the nude/white look. About me: I am a standard size 8 (158cm, 60kg, bust 86cm, hips 71cm waist 96cm). For reference, on the day I wore 13inch YSL Tributes (the front of the dress just touched the floor). It has a button at the back to hook the hem and 2 loops for you to hold the hem. I did not want to sell this dress as it is my dream dress but with all the losses endured during Covid, I must part with it and hope that it makes another gorgeous girl’s dream come true!
