I purchased this stunning dress from Strictly Bridal at Robina on the Gold Coast. It was my dream dress and I would love nothing more than for it to go to a good home. The dress was purchased for $2,300 and I spent $350 on alterations. The dress has only been worn once, has been professionally dry cleaned and comes in its original bag. There are a couple of minor marks at the back of the dress down the bottom that are only noticeable on very close inspection but would be covered by the train when on. You are more than welcome to come and inspect the dress before sale.Overall the dress is in excellent condition.

The dress is marked a UK 6 US 4. The waist of the dress has been taken in and the hem taken up. I bought the dress 1 size bigger so that the waist could be drawn in but the bust would be more accomodating. Would fit an Australian 6 or 8 but you may need to have the bust taken in depending on your size. I am 164cm and wore approx 3 inch heels with the dress.

The dress is strapless with an inner corset that has clips at the back like a bra to hold your waist in tight. There is no need to wear a bra with the dress. It then has satin buttons down the back of the dress as seen in pics. It has tule underneath and a hoop that goes with it to fill out the bottom and to make it easier to walk in. The dress is made from a thick satin fabric that wraps around the body and falls from just below the bottom. It has a slight fish tail at the bottom with a train off the back. Dress can be bussled at the back to make it more managable.

The best way to work out if this beautiful gown is for you is to come and try it on. Make sure you bring appropriate shoes!
