The Dress

Butterfly lace design on top and lightweight but full looking tulle on bottom - illusion neckline, off the shoulder, v-neck, a-line

Things to love about this dress:
- The skirt has tulle layers that give it a really nice flow and shape, but the very front just goes straight down (not poofy layers) to give an elegant/regal/toned stomach look
- Off the shoulder look with an invisible sheer layer over the shoulder makes the dress comfortable in both the front and back, never feeling like the straps or dress would shift around
- Off the shoulder gives an angled v-neck shape but still modest in front of the whole family
- The lace has a nice butterfly design - not too paisley or too overly flowery
- Color combination of cappuccino underneath the ivory lace on top gives a nice two-tone
- Back is open but secured with the buttons/clips about midway so it feels very secure with no other supplies/body tape needed

Dress has not been cleaned but is really only a little dirty on the inside bottom lining of the skirt from brushing against the floor, not visible from the outside of the dress. The top two button elastics in the back are stretched out, but dress is still secure with clips - buttons are for decoration only.

Alterations

Dress is size 10 (street size 8) with no alterations in the main waist/body of the dress

Alterations include:
The hem skirt length
American style bustle added
Shoulders slightly tightened
Clips added behind the buttons in back so there is less/no stress on the buttons themselves

I am 5'6 and wore betsey johnson rhinestone sneakers which added about 1 in - so if you are about the same or slightly shorter and wearing heels then no more hem alterations needed! (which is the more expensive part)
