The moment I saw this dress in the Nutcracker collection of Paolo Sebastian, its shimmering magical vibe just simply caught my eyes. This beautiful snowflake-themed gown from Australian based designer is definitely a show-stopper. Its delicate touch of the flowy fabric and glittering handcrafted beadwork will make anyone in this dress feel like a dream. Totally something out of a fairytale. This custom-made sheer ball gown is very light and flowy yet it keeps its form with crinoline banding inside the dress, always stay in its beautiful shape even without wearing a panier inside. Snowflake crystal beadwork scattered all over the dress twinkles like magic under the light. The corset underneath keeps the body in shape and with the straight line going down without any cut around the waist really does make you look slimmer! I am around size 4 US and 169 cm tall, this dress was made for 10cm heel but I am sure the size and length are very easy to alter. The dress didn’t come with the veil but I use the silk ribbon from the brand called Lelet NY with my initial, because I didn’t want to cover all the beautiful sparkling crystal craftwork. And I think a simple ribbon will do just fine with the dress. The dress was worn only once at my wedding at Four Seasons Resort Chiangmai, Thailand and has been dry-cleaned at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Bangkok.
