The Dress

The dress is honestly just like new. This is an elegant, timeless model. The dress is made from luxurious ivory mikado silk accented with Chantilly lace appliques. Some of the Chantilly lace appliques are embellished with tiny pearls and sequins. It was super easy for me to wear the dress the whole night and dance in it!

Professionally dry cleaned. There are no stains except for some minor signs of wear on the very bottom of the hem.

Please note that I have added an extra lace top over the dress for church. I have also added a wider belt to emphasize the waist more, so the dress was more ball gown style than a-line. Both items are removable.

Alterations

- The bust/top was NOT altered at all.
- The hem was altered - the initial length from the waist (location of the belt on dress) to the floor was 110,5 cm; However, this was too short for me and then I added some 10cm of extra fabric/hem, that can easily be removed. FYI I am 168cm high and was wearing a 7cm heel. On request, I will send you more information on this and extra photos.
- Genuine French bustle was added as well for the reception which you can see in photos. Even close up the bustle was professionally and exquisitely tailored.
