The Dress

Selling after purchasing, but deciding to wear a different option for my wedding. Photos shown are from original owner and the only time the dress was worn.

Dress is in great condition! I only marked as ‘Used-Good’ as obviously you can expect some very minor imperfections from a used wedding dress if you are inspecting it very closely. However, the dress looks great and there are no significant flows to note.

Absolutely stunning silhouette. The Nicole Miller Dakota is flattering and forgiving. I have an athletic figure and it created soft romantic curves. The fabric is comfortable and flexible to dance all night without losing its lovely form. It was professionally dry cleaned and preserved and will be shipped in its preservation box. Would also be happy to include (free of charge) the Sara Gabriel veil shown in the second image.

Alterations

Measurement details from original owner:
1. The dress was taken in from a size 6. It was professionally fitted to me as a size 0/2.
I just tried on the dress again to get a sense of fitting. My current measurements are: 35" hips, 26" waist, 33" bust. I wear a 25/26 pant with a 31" inseam, XS/S top/dress depending on the brand. J.Crew/Banana Republic I'm an XS or a 0. The dress is comfortable now; if I wanted it to fit like a glove I would have it taken in slightly. The biggest gap is on the bust; I am a 34A and there is definitely space. I would have to wear a padded push up to fit the cups. I think this would be comfortable up to a C cup without having to alter.
2. I only had the dress taken in and hemmed. It was professionally done so it was taken in along all seams; I think I had 3 fittings.
3. Lenght: I am 5'5" and standing flat foot the front is probably 1" longer. So if I were 5'7" barefoot, it would probably just touch the ground, or run along the front of my toes. On my highest tip toes you can see my toes. From the lowest point in the middle of the sweetheart, it is 50" long. There is an extra 1" of hem visible on the bottom that could also be taken out.
4. I think if you wear a size 2 it would be a perfect fit. I think if you're more of a flat chest, flat stomach 0 then you'll want to have it taken in. As for length there is an inch hem at the bottom which could be taken out.
