The Dress
I purchased this gown from the Monique Lhullier Flagship in Los Angeles in early 2020 and wore it for my December 2021 wedding.
This dress is beautiful and so flattering! The style is perfect for all seasons and the jacket provides you with 2 looks. I removed the jacket after my ceremony.
This dress was never worn outdoors and I changed out of the dress before dancing. This kept the dress in perfect condition.
I was surprised at how easy the dress was to move in. It was very secure and felt light, especially when bustled.
The veil is also from Monique Lhullier. It’s an off-white cathedral length veil.

Alterations
- Alterations was completed at the Monique Lhullier shop
- It was hemmed to skim the floor for someone who is 5'8
- The bodice was taken in, and cups and a bustle were added
- The arms of the jacket were taken in
