The Dress
The smooth simple skirt made of viscose crepon (country of origin: Italy) is perfectly complemented by the hand-embroidered top (embroidery: country of origin: Italy). The appliqué creates a striking floral pattern which also decorates the waist area.
This dress is wonderfully comfortable (soft material, stretchy fabric), and has added illusion fabric on most of the top, creating a sexy but sophisticated look, without having to worry about any slippage.
I wore this dress for my mountain wedding in October 2021 and loved every second of it. The only alterations made were that the straps were taken up a very minor amount and a bustle was added. Given the fact that it was an outdoor wedding, the inside of the very bottom of the dress has some extremely faint staining, that cannot be seen on the outside. Additionally, since I didn't hem the bottom, it would very easily be hemmed and the affected fabric would disappear. It was dry-cleaned three times to maximize removal of any staining.
Trust me, you want to wear this dress. It is a dream.
