The Dress

Classy and timeless lace mermaid gown with bateau neckline by Justin Alexander, style 8530.

It comes with an unused detachable train with matching appliques that can also be worn as a coordinating headpiece and veil.

I will also include the Jupon bridal petticoat that I wore under the dress to give it extra mermaid flare.

It has been professionally dry cleaned and only has an unnoticeable small mark on the bottom edge where it meets the floor. It has been lovingly kept in a an archival, acid-free textile box.

The SS11 dress is no longer made, making it a unique opportunity to wear a classic gown by the designer.

Alterations

Altered at the time of purchase by a professional seamstress to make it slightly shorter. The label states USA size 6 which is equivalent to a UK 10. I am between a UK size 8 and 10, so it was also altered to fit more snugly. A light blue ribbon for 'something blue' is also sown inside.
