The Dress

Darnell from the 2021 Pronovias Collection - is absolutely gorgeous the lace has an absolutely stunning floral design the echoes Australian natives. I fell in love with it being over the entire dress.

Darnell is intricate, graceful and balances simplicity in cut which gives the opportunity for the lace to shine. The buttons on the back add a nice detail though being aesthetic (there is a functional zip which doesn't show) mean its super easy to get on and off.

This dress is an absolute dream to wear - I felt beautiful, stunning as well as secure and comfortable throughout the entire day. The bodice has boning and the cups (I am a small size) and sleeveless v, design left me no concern about any wardrobe malfunction. It is tightest just above the waist and so it leaves you with breathing room for food. The A-line nature means you have total freedom to move around, walk, sit down and not feel restrained - also great for dancing in as you're not restricted, and theres not a mass of dress to navigate.

I wore it in a church only ceremony (COVID) and then at a later service and reception. There was a small amount of discolouration from dirt at the hem of the dress from walking around - it has been professionally dry cleaned.
