The Dress

Celeste Gown:

Light translucent dress with a sparkling base and spaghetti straps. Corset with cups, zipper and buttons on the back. The dress is a pure masterpiece, decorated with applications and lace details. Train 25cm. Lycra slip included. There is an optional detachable overskirt that can be purchased from Pearl Bridal Gold Coast and is made of sparkling tulle. (I did not purchase this for my big day).

This was my absolute dream dress. It's hugging and has a little bit of give in the fabric to mould to your unique shape. I did have the waist and bust taken in a little. I'm a size D cup, but did lose a little bit in the lead up. The base of the dress sits up beautifully when walking; thus minimising dirt to the bottom. We had perfect weather for the wedding, so it's quite clean. There's a minor spray tan mark under the arms, but can't be seen when worn. Dry cleaning would likely take this out. The dress is translucent, however it comes with a full length nude coloured slip that is worn underneath. At night, the dress shimmers beautifully under the lights (and I'm not normally one for sparkly things). Originally paid $3,130 for the dress and our wedding was just a few months ago. The dress is in excellent condition.

Alterations

The dress was taken in a couple of cm's at the bust and waist by a professional wedding dressmaker to fit my size. This dress still however has some give, due to the nature of the fabric.
