The Dress

Gorgeous Silk Eve Dress by Galvan. I wore this gown to my welcome dinner. Finding something for my welcome dinner took even more effort than finding my wedding gown -- nothing seemed right until I tried on a Galvan dress at their Soho NYC boutique and was blown away by the quality of the fabric and how the silk drapes on the body. It's a really lovely, unique, and flattering silver blue color. This dress is sold out in 34 (and almost all sizes) both in store and online (tip: I originally tried ordering it from the Yes boutique online as it was showing in stock in my size, but they do not have the inventory. I had to email with the Galvan store to find the last 34 available).

Dress is in very good condition -- worn once and dry cleaned. In the last photo you can see the seam in the back has slight rippling because of the nature of the silk. The silk fabric is great quality and heavy weight for nice draping.

Alterations

Hem alteration (to fit 5'3" height plus 4 inch heels) -- excellent alteration by a tailor in NYC recommended by the Galvan boutique in Soho.
