The Dress

Abbesses is a Calais lace dress with 3/4 sleeves. The silk skirt has a pleated pan on the front and a line of pearl buttons going down the back. With its high waist and V-neckline and a deep V in the back, the Abbesses dress has a sublime silhouette. The train has a ribbon that can be gathered to make it easier to walk.

This dress is brand new, never worn. We had to cancel our wedding because of the pandemic, and are now planning something smaller. I bought the dress in New York City at the Laure de Sagazan shop before the designer closed her U.S. stores. It can now only be purchased in Europe. It was altered to fit me (I'm 5'9" and was wearing 2.5" heels). The dress is a pure white, like in the website photos. In my photos, it looks more cream colored, but that's not accurate. The silk is indescribably gorgeous with a very flattering drape. I am very happy to provide more photos or any other information. Please note that this dress was in French sizing and so is more of a U.S. size 10 than a size 12.

Alterations

I have a smaller waist and wider hips, so the waist was taken in. The skirt could very easily be taken in if your hips aren't quite as wide as mine!
