The Dress

If you are looking for a dress that is classy and sexy, unconventional, but still bridal, the Galatea is made for you! This dress is an absolute dream with its oversized Dalia-inspired floral motif, deep v-front, and unique titanium color. With a frothy skirt and just enough of a train to feel like a princess, but not need a bustle, you can easily dance the night away. I wore this for my wedding and hope another bride can get the same joy out of it that I experienced.

Details:
The dress is a size 0, but I usually wear a size 2 in this style (A-line, essentially anything that doesn't hug the hips!) of dress. Without altering the dress, the waist can accommodate from a 25" waist (what I measured at when I bought the dress) to 26.5" waist (what I measured at on my wedding day).

This dress has been professionally dry cleaned and does show some minor signs of wear on the innermost charmeuse layer (~2.5 inches of frayed hem and a few tiny black spots the cleaner could not get out). If you need to get this dress hemmed (it is at its original length), the areas where there are signs of wear would be removed. If you don't need it hemmed, you will NOT be able to see these minor flaws when wearing or photographing the dress. I am happy to provide photos if you private message me. Dress comes from a smoke-free home.

Alterations

Very few alterations have been done to this dress, so it is true to size! I had the shoulder straps shortened ~1 inch and push-up bra pads sewn in (easily removable, size A cup). The dress originally come with two rows of velvet ribbon wrapped around the bodice to secure the waist with a bow in the back. I had the extra (the tie part) ribbon cut off to make a flat strap. This piece is connected by a snap closure. I personally feel that it added to the sophistication of the dress.
