The Dress

Alyssa Kristen ‘Maven’ dress from the 2020 collection, worn in September 2021.
Bought new from The White Closet in West Didsbury.

The dress is white and is made from crepe material with a wool mix under layer. Fitted style with flesh coloured low cut side panels. Fastens with zip and hook and eye at the back.

I am a UK size 10 and wear a size 34DD bra size. The dress has been altered to add cups in. This really helps to add shape to the upper section. I wore Charlotte Mills Juniper Pearl 10cm heels with the dress and it was altered to just touch the floor, so it would be fine for anyone up to 5’9” in height. It has had minimal alterations aside from those listed above.

The dress has been dry cleaned by a bridal specialist and has come out as new. I am happy to provide the dry cleaning receipt with the dress.

The Pearl beaded ‘wings’ attachment which was worn as a veil alternative and as shown on the photos are not included.

Alterations

Cups put in to give shape
Length altered to allow for 5’6 wearer with 4” heels
Hooks added under straps to allow for wings to be attached. These are not visible so the dress could be worn with or without the wings.
Button added in underside to allow for the train to be bustled.
