The Dress

I absolutely loved my wedding dress! This dress is the below dress on the Justin Alexander website. https://www.justinalexander.com/justin-alexander/collection/wedding-dresses/88158/
However I did make a few alternations but I think these made it even more beautiful! The dress fit me perfectly as a size 10. It skims over the hips so I found it was very flattering as I would be abit self conscious about my hips. It brought me in the waist and was very flattering.

It has a ivory overlay and a pink champagne underlay on the lower layer. This is subtle but modern and beautiful. I personally found it made it more unique and lovely rather than just having it all ivory.

It was so comfortable and flowed beautifully. We did a choreographed first dance and it was easy to dance in this. I found it was a lovely, relaxed dress which I loved wearing!

It has been full dry cleaned and is excellent condition - no marks or imperfections. I can send photos if that would be helpful.

Alterations

I have made quite a few alterations which to me made the dress even more beautiful. I found that this dress had quite a lot of layers and it had netting underneath- for me this made it quite big which I didn’t really like. So I took the netting out (I still have it so could be sowed back in) and I reduced some of the other layers so what was left was a really delicate lace train which sat beautifully. I also added a few more flowers around the bust so it was not as revealing.
