The Dress

Impeccable crafting makes this gown timeless. Mikado silk outer layer has a heavier weight and subtle glow that looks lux and holds its shape all day long without making you feel stuffy or sweaty. The dress also has a liner made of thinner silk.

This gown showcases your best assets with plunging V-necklines and a wide, inset waist that cinches even after you have cake!

And, it has pockets hidden in the voluminous skirt which are perfect for your lipstick, tissues, and vows.

My wedding ceremony and reception were both outdoors. Although this dress has been professionally cleaned by a wedding gown preservation company, it does show minor signs of wear. An honest overview of wear:
1) See pic 6 - back hemline of outermost silk layer has minor stains. If you can take off 4-5in of fabric then the stains will no longer appear. I am 5'10" and stood at 6'2" in the dress with shoes.
2) See pics 7 & 8 - stains on inner silk liner. These stains do not bleed through to the outer layer of the dress made of mikado silk.
3)The single button that was the bustle attachment point is missing. See more on bustle under alterations.

Alterations

No significant alterations were made to this dress. Bust/sides, straps, and dress length were NOT changed.

- American bustle added. Single attachment/pick-up point. The button that formed the attachment point is missing, but pick-up point loop still present. It is a very simple bustle design and the remaining loop could be removed so that you can create your desired bustle shape. (bustled dress shown in pic 5)

- Soft cups added. Attached by simple stitches that can be removed.
