The Dress

A high slit skirt and a bold plunge neckline and back cut into the creamy crepe of this mermaid gown.

I tried this dress on in the shop once only and bought it! I loved it. It is a sample size 10 and absolutely perfect for alterations. I am a size 6/8 and the seamstress said this wasn't a bother to alter at all.

Unfortunately we ended up having a very small day so I opted for something else (although it was a fantastic day I was sad this dress never got a day out).

The dress is extremely flattering - with the deep V in the back - I was also worried that the slit would be "too much" after seeing the photos but it truely isn't. The leg adds a bit of colour to the white.

The train on this dress is insane, it is a statement. Had I worn this I would have reduced the length of the train but if you wanted something a bit more showey then keep it - the simplicity of the dress allows for it.

I have not put any measurements on this because it is a sample size and no alterations were made. It likely needs a pat down (unlikely to need a dry clean) as it was a sample.
