The Dress

Originally a larger size, this gorgeous dress has been altered to fit a size 10AU. It was taken in around the chest and the length was shortened. Its colour is ivory/blush. The floral lace detail which covers the bodice and extends down the skirt is ivory. The tulle ball gown skirt is blush. The colours looked stunning in our wedding photographs.

I am 164cm tall and wore flats on the day. The dress sat perfectly at the front and spread out behind with the train. There is a hidden hook, embroidered into the floral pattern so that the train can be hooked up for dancing etc.

It was dry cleaned in January 2015 and is kept in storage. There are a couple of very light (unnoticeable) marks on the hidden layers of the skirt that the dry cleaning did not remove which are about the size of a tic-tac.

This dress made me feel like a princess. I love the big ball gown skirt and the gorgeous delicate floral lace detail. It is just so pretty and that is exactly how I felt wearing it. As my wedding had a few outfit changes (my husband is Fijian), I only wore this dress for a few hours.
