The Dress

Bought from the UK for just over NZ $2000, excluding postage. An absolutely stunning, vintage-style dress. High-quality lace bodice and chiffon overlay for the skirt. Super comfortable for wearing all day. I even danced away the night in it (lindy hop and balboa). Hence why there is no train to this dress.

In excellent condition, no pulls or tears. A bit dirty on the bottom two or three centimetres of the dress, but if you're not as tall as me (175cm + 7cm heels on the wedding day), you could easily cut this off the dress, and the dress would be as good as new. With a dry clean, the hem will come up much fresher too. (Since this dress hasn't been dry-cleaned since the wedding day (22 May 2021), I've listed it very cheaply.

Currently stored in a big white box especially for wedding dresses (pH neutral board + acid-free tissue paper). Happy to ship around NZ or to Australia.

Alterations

This dress has been altered to a NZ size 12 bust. The waist was not altered, as I was 10 weeks pregnant when we got married and needed the extra room. My dressmaker said that altering the waist was an easy job though. The train was removed, so dress is now floor length. Perfect for ease of movement and for dancing :)
