The Dress

The IDEAL dress for a bride wanting a classic, effortless-to-wear wedding gown. This gorgeous gown is made of a light weight European silk twill. It has a fitted v-neckline with circular a-line skirt, pockets, and a standard train. The lining is made of silk.

The fabric is structured and so holds the shape well throughout the day/night. No undergarments are required.

There is a small button detail at the back, with the majority of the dress done up with a hidden zipper (situated at the back, centre, sitting directly below the buttons).

The fine belt around the waist is sewn on, so it sits neatly around the waist and won't require any fiddling throughout your big day!

The dress has a small train at the back, further details below:
- Strap to hem (front): 65 inches
- Strap to hem (back): 78 inches
- Waist to hem (front): 46 inches
- Waist to hem (back): 63 inches

This gown was a Size 10 off the rack from Suzanne Harward, bought in mid-2019. It had some alterations done separately (via their preferred alterations contact) after purchase to better fit my top half. It was taken in slightly around the bust area and the straps shortened a touch, to raise the neckline for a little less cleavage.

Dimensions given above in cms are taken of dress lying flat & doubled (measuring my shape now is not accurate as I've since had a baby).

Wash care instructions: Dry Clean Only.

This dress has been dry cleaned & will be sent to you folded neatly in a box and protected in tissue paper. There are no stains on the dress. The only sign of any wear is some very light feathering of the material at the base (please contact me directly for close up photos) however this is hardly noticeable.
