The Dress

PLEASE NOTE: I PURCHASED THIS DRESS FOR $2,400 ON STILLWHITE, UNFORTUNATELY I HAVE NEEDED TO GET A BIGGER SIZE TO FIT MY LOWER HALF. $1350 non negotiable, absolute bargain! :) Original details below:

‘I was so happy I chose this gown for my Big Day! It is chique but classic, sexy but subtle! The fabric is a stretchy and thick georgette, which means that it "holds in" all the bits, but at the same time it is so comfortable and un-restricting. The colour is off-white, as a result it is a super camera-friendly dress.
I can't stress enough how great is the quality of One Day Bridal gowns, the lining and seams are all top-notch.

Alterations

The dress was made top size 3 and bottom size 4 (One Day Bridal sizing) and I had it slightly altered at the bust (let out 3 cm on the bust to 0 at the waist).
The dress was longer than what I needed so the length was cut at the front, but the whole train was left as is. This means that the dress has a slightly more dramatic train than standard Byron dress (makes it that more oooh!)
The zipper's pull tab broke off, however, I really didn't want to change the zipper (as it is such a strong one!). My seamstress added a ribbon to it, and that solved the problem. Once the buttons are done up, the whole zipper is covered and can't be seen.
