The Dress

As a plus size girl I worried about looking good in a wedding dress. This was the very first dress at the very first shop I tried on and it was MAGICAL. It’s true what they say about when you find the ONE you’ll know. I couldn’t believe how good I looked and felt in it! I felt like a real princess I couldn’t stop dancing around the shop.
The waist and bust is designed to slim the waist and hug your curves in all the right places, the bust held up my saggy “girls” so well and gave the perfect hourglass figure.

I was so comfy in it all day and night long I didn’t want to take it off!
It’s a size 22 which fit so well however I had the waist taken out 4cm as I wanted to be able to drink and eat heaps however it can be taken back in.
I had detachable straps added so I could take them off for dancing at the reception and bustle attachments put on the back of the dress.
It’s ivory lace and tulle over a moscato gown which gave it a really pretty blush/nude tinge.

There is a small hole at the bottom of the skirt. It’s been professionally dry cleaned however they were unable to get the red dirt out of the bottom of the skirt as seen in the 4th picture

I’ll be sad to see it go but my only wish is it gives another bride the fairytale wedding it gave me ❤️

Alterations

Waist taken out 4cm, detachable sleeves, bustle attachments added, bust taken in at the top
