The Dress

Never worn wedding dress! Due to COVID, my husband and I got married last year in an intimate ceremony and chose to not have our large reception. I wore a different dress to the ceremony thinking we would eventually have the big party but never did - so this dress has sadly been sitting in my closet. Hoping to find it a new home with a future bride who can get better use out of it.

The dress is a size 8, currently retails for $2,000 (I paid $2,500 at an NYC boutique). Really nice fitted top with a flowing skirt, the material of the skirt is super form fitting and sucks you in. Beautiful lace bust! Extremely sad I won't have the chance to wear it.

Alterations

I did go through with my first fitting before we decided to cancel our wedding. It has already been hemmed to fit my height. I am 5' 2" and had the dress hemmed for 3" heels. Total length for the dress would fit someone 5'5" or under. I put cups in the top to keep the girls in, however these can easily be removed. I chose to swap the original straps for a spaghetti strap, however I have the original floral lace straps that can be put back on the dress. Happy to answer any other questions!
