The Dress
This is an amazingly comfortable dress. It is stretchy, breathable and very easy to move in. This dress fits a range of sizes as it is stretch lace.
I bought this dress new/unworn second hand but had it altered to add sleeves. The sleeves were made out of the dresses train so that the material would match perfectly. The arm opening is approx. 42 cm wide. Sleeve length is approx. 70 cm long. Please note measurements have been taken with lace un-stretched.
Please note that the hem on the dress is not perfect.The first seamstress I took the dress to steamed the silk chiffon and it caused these panels to shrink shorter then the lace panelling. I have attached a photo of this. This could be fixed, however it would have made the dress too short for me so I did not alter the hem. The shortest part of silk chiffon panel is approximately 146 cm at front (still crinkly). I am 172 cm tall.
I wore the dress during the reception and found it super comfortable, especially during my first dance. It has been washed and there aren't any visible marks etc.
