I love this dress - I felt great wearing it and I'm not a dress wearer in my day to day life. I could dance and move completely freely and importantly for me could be completely independent all day (no need for help going to the loo or going up and down stairs!). I also wore a 3/4 length sleeve lace jacket over the top. The lace detailing on the dress blended perfectly with this and so it looked like 1 piece rather than 2. Button detailing but fastens with a zip. No faffing doing up and undoing buttons!
I'm a UK 12/14 and the 16 size of this dress fit perfectly with no need for alterations.
Dry cleaned after 1 day of use and stored in a clean bag (receipts available to prove cleaning). The hem is a little darker even after cleaning. With a minor hem adjustment, it would look as good as new. Adjusted by a seamstress to include a bustle tie to reduce size of the train later in the day
