The Dress

**Update** I'm leaving the UK very soon so have heavily reduced the dress price to reflect the urgency of selling it. The photos of me in the gown were taken just to show the proportions, this isn't me on my wedding day. I've lost weight so the dress is big on me in the photos.

I bought this stunning gown just before lockdown as a sample as it’s no longer available to order from the designer.

The dress has never been worn by a bride or myself and has only been tried on in store.

It’s in beautiful condition with only 3 minor areas that need attention. Please see the photos. The first is a very small tear in the lace in the bodice which only needs minor stitching. The second is a very small hole in the top layer of the blush top fabric layer on the hip area (my seamstress was going to add a small appliqué to cover it, again very minor. The third is a very small hole in the tulle at the bottom edge of the back of the train on the tulle. Any seamstress will easily be able to make the small repairs at a low cost. Please note that as this gown is a sample, it came direct from the designer and will need to be altered for height. So it’s in its original condition from the designer with no alterations.

I cannot stress enough how stunning this gown is. I’m a size 8 and it fits perfectly but makes me look like a size 4! The shape and colour of the gown creates a silhouette that minimises the waist and makes all your curves look spectacular. As the bustier top of the gown is boned and padded, you get a Jessica Rabbit look and shape, even if you’re smaller chested.

The unusual colour is what makes this gown really stand out. The subtle blush combined with the complimenting colour of the bustier really sets this gown apart. The trend for 2021 bridal wear is showing that colour is going to be big. This gown would suit a casual, vintage or more traditional style wedding. Mine was going to be afternoon tea with a bohemian-chic feel.

My intention was to have some simple detachable lace cap sleeves added in to make the dress more formal for the day and remove them for the reception. It’s a very flexible look.

Length from top of back to end of train: 228cm
Waist: 67cm
Hips: 84 cm
Bust (padded): 74cm

My venue changed so I'm selling for a really good price (NOT including the cathedral length veil), due to the small repairs that the gown needs.
