The Dress

Simple wedding dresses don't come any more showstopping than Theia Couture's stunning Devon gown. The tailoring on this high quality luxe crepe dress is incredibly high quality, delivering a wedding dress with a super flattering fit. It shows off your curves, while the fully lined luxe crepe is weighty enough to conceal any bumps, which isn't an easy combination to find in a plain crepe sheath dress. The silk crepe is buttery soft and of amazing quality. This dress is honestly magically flattering and the back v is a gorgeous counterpoint to the higher neckline on the dress front.

I knew as soon as I tried it on that it was the perfect, timeless dress. I received so many compliments and know that the dress still will be a classic when I look back at the photos in 20 years time.

The Devon can be styled with a lace bridal shrug, a bridal belt or a detailed veil (like I did).

The dress was a size 10, but was altered to my measurements. I kept the chapel length train, so it can easily be altered shorter if you wish. I had a hidden loop added to the train so that it can be more easily carried.

My measurements are:
Bust: 32” / 81.28 cm
Waist: 26.5” / 67.31 cm
Hips: 32” / 81.28 cm (but fullest part is 36” / 91.44 cm)

I am 172 cm tall and wore 6.5 cm heels.

The dress is in pristine, as new condition (aside from the alterations). I was super careful on the day and carried my train wherever I went. I only drank water on the night so there weren't any spills either. In fact... It was in such good condition that when I took it to the dry cleaner, she asked if I had even worn it! There were no stains at all; not even on the train or under the arms. Regardless, I had it professionally dry cleaned so that it's ready for another brides big day :)
