The Dress

Color: Oatmeal
The color is stunning. Depending on the light, it looks like a soft blush pink or nude, which was what I wanted. Anyone can wear white, this dress turned heads and I am so glad I chose something so unique and feminine - I felt like a princess!

Description:
A full-skirted, oatmeal tulle wedding gown from the Watters Wtoo bridal collection. The strapless sweetheart neckline bodice and cascading overskirt are embroidered with hand-beaded, tonal-colored Swarovski crystal embellished flowers.

Custom Details:
I ordered tulle from Watters and had a custom matching floor length veil made. The veil will come with the dress (it is attached to a plastic comb, which easily can be added to almost any hair style).
I had custom tulle straps added to the dress, to ensure it was secure throughout the ceremony and in photos, and the criss cross tulle straps added a romantic touch to the back of the dress.

This dress is lightweight, despite the volume, and is a romantic dream to wear. It was gently worn, and I changed into a different dress for the reception so this gown was spared from the dancing and reception festivities. The dress has been in storage, and it is time to let it go become someone else's dream dress.

Alterations

The dress was taken in along the waist and hips, to fit the measurements I provided. I am 35x25x38, with a slender torso and small bust. The straps I had added ensured a tight fit and no slippage. The alterations and custom veil cost $550.
