The Dress

The Luna gown is from Naomi Neoh's Celestial collection and is all about the subtle details. The bodice is made of up of delicate shimmering beads, and fine cross-over straps at the back, which creates a sleek and modern look. A monumental skirt of billowing silk chiffon and large train make this gown unforgettable. There is an in-build corset, which holds you in without being uncomfortable and supports you so there is no need for a bra. The train bustles up at the back, making it easier to move around in, but still hangs softly. I thought that I never wanted a 'sparkly' wedding dress, but as soon as I tried it on, I fell in love with it.
Purchased in October 2018 and worn for my wedding in May 2019. Bought new for £2,395.

The dress is still in reasonable condition. It has been professionally dry cleaned by Johnson's Dry Cleaners (cost: £180) and it comes with a plain white dress bag. At the time of cleaning, I had the bustle repaired. Due to the delicate nature of this dress, dry cleaning it has slightly loosened some of the beading at the front, which could easily be repaired by a seamstress. There are a few tiny stains at the front of the dress and on the train, which are not overly visible, as well as some mild staining to the inner layer of the skirt. I can provide photographs of all defects as needed; please contact me.

I am more than happy to answer any questions and if you live nearby, please come and try on the dress. I can also look at transporting the dress down to London to be tried on as well (I have family there). Please just let me know. I am a UK size 6, 5ft 5 and wore 1.5-inch heels.

One of the reasons why I have decided to sell this beautiful dress is so that another bride can wear it on her special day. I truly felt wonderful in it and it was the perfect dress.

Alterations

I had a few alterations made:
- hooks and eyes were placed for the straps to attach (making it so much easier to put on)
- inbuilt cups (size B) were sewn in (these could easily be removed if needed)
- see-through backing was added to the straps to prevent them rubbing my shoulders
- the bodice was pulled in at the waist to fit my size
- the length was shortened
