Custom made wedding dress from Lainie Brookman Couture. Fabric from Tylers Fabric in Cremorne.
The outer shell is a stunning glass beaded tulle (natural). Slip is Verona Silk in nude (almost a dusty rose colour).
The weight of the glass beaded shell allows this dress to drape and sit beautifully. The skirt of the dress provides a beautiful a-line without adding unnecessary bulk. Although heavy, it's easy to move in.
There's some pilling on the silk slip from rubbing against tulle during the day (not noticeable behind the slip). There are some small holes along the bottom of the hem in the tulle - over the day the dress length dropped under the weight of the beading and was caught underfoot. Some of the stitching has come undone along the bottom hem.
As it's custom made, the size was made to fit. I'm usually a size 14, depending on the brand (occasionally a size 16).
