The dress is ivory lace with a satin under layer - the satin is described as 'cocoa coloured' which gives it a vintage feel and makes the ivory lace on top of it stand out more than ivory satin. It only has a slight hint of colour to it - as you can see from the photos.

It had a zip fastening at the back on the main dress. It also has buttons with a loop fastener all the way down to the waist band.

The detailed belt on the front is something I had added and it is stitched onto the dress but could easily be taken off it you didn't require it.

The back of the dress is is sheer lace which gives a nice open back without being too revealing. The front has a V- neck but also had the sheer lace over the top.

The dress sits just off the shoulder.

The dress has a train with a scalloped edge.

I am 5ft 9in and didn't wear heels (or I would have been taller than my husband) and the dress sat just on the floor.

You are able to wear a hoop with this if you wish to make the bottom on the dress stand out more but I wanted it to be more flowing to chose not to wear one.

I had breast cups inserted into the dress so I didn't have to wear a bra on the day due to the sheer lace back.

I have recently had the dress professionally dry cleaned and it is packed in a dress bag.
