The Dress
Stunning custom made lace wedding dress made on the Isle of Wight by Forget Me Not Designs. Dry cleaned and professionally boxed in acid-free paper.
I felt like an absolute star wearing this dress - it has a definite vintage Hollywood glamour look.
A beautiful classic lace dress in ivory, with a boat neckline and a bodice underneath and 3/4 length lace sleeves. A v-back has (real!) buttons running below to about hip height, the skirt is fitted around the hips but then flares out to create an A-line shape with a small lace puddle train.
The dress is comfortable and easy to wear - the corset holds everything in the right place and the skirt has lots of movement so it's not restrictive and moves beautifully when dancing (it can be tied underneath to create a small bustle which lifts up the train too).
I am a size 8, 5ft 5 with a 32B bust. I wore 2.5" heels on the day.
