Galia Lahav, Harlow

The Harlow is a shimmering mermaid dress made of a glistening embroidered hand made scalloped lace, with a hand embroidered front feature and a sheer low back with scalloped edge. The back is covered with an almost second skin type fabric, giving a seamless and very forgiving look. The underskirt material is a blush nude colour. The dress has a subtle shimmer which turns out beautifully in photos.

I had the cap sleeves made more substantial to give a capped sleeve appearance and also had the back brought in slightly with extra lace so that it wasn't as low as seen in original photo from Galia Lahav website. I also had the train extended by 30cm.

The dress is in excellent condition as I only wore it for the ceremony and pictures after. I changed into a short dress for the dancing, so the dress is in immaculate condition. I have original receipt as proof of price. The dress was purchased and custom made to order in London. I am a size 10, bra size 34C/D, 5ft 8 and wore 4.5inch heels. There are built in cups so you dont need to worry about wearing a bra. The dress is somewhat stretchy - so extremely comfortable to wear and offers loads of support.

Galia Lahav advises against dry cleaning the dress and advises hand wash with silk detergent. The gown is in such good condition, I spot hand cleaned any stains on the undersurface of the dress that appeared from walking. There were no stains on the outside of the dress.
