I wore this dress on my wedding day in August and it made me feel absolutely beautiful! I had tried on about 40 dresses and this one just felt right! Most of the dresses I had tried on previously had felt so heavy and I knew I wanted to be comfortable for my summer wedding. I was searching for something vintage and romantic, sexy but still classy and this dress has it all. It felt so light weight, and has the most beautiful elegant train. Once it was bustled I was able to dance the night a way! This dress is in excellent condition. One button had fallen off the back near the zipper but could very easily be replaced by a seamstress. I have extra buttons. Two or three buttons just need to be reinforced. I would love for someone else to have the opportunity to wear this gorgeous gown on their special day!
Alterations
I am 5’3” and wore three inch heels with this dress. Boning was added to the bodice to help hold the dresses shape and provide extra support. There are Small discrete crystal beads to hold up the bustle. The bustle lays beautifully. I spent around 500+ on alterations.
I have also seen other brides add cap sleeves to this gown which gives it a whole other look! This dress is very versatile.
