Martina Liana

Designer Wedding Dress:

I bought this dress at the Martina Liana trunk show, I actually tried on the dress in Adelaide and then flew to Sydney to purchase the gown (as you could only purchase at the trunk show). Martina Liana didn't end up retailing the dress in Australia after the trunk shows, so mine is one of only a few in Australia - which I loved knowing I wasn't going to see my dress in every magazine like some other dresses! Its unique, simple, elegant and beautiful - exactly what I was looking for!

I went for a vintage setting in a winery and chose to have a flower crown as my head piece, the dress suited my style perfectly. After the ceremony and photos, I removed my flower crown and added a beaded belt and a beaded headpiece which was a little extra sparkle for the evening. This all went beautifully!

This dress has a lace fitted bodice and soft tulle skirt layering with a zipper back and satin buttons, it was originally purchased as size 10, however was altered to a size 8.

It has been worn once on my wedding day and has since been freshly dry cleaned ($300).

I will sell the matching hoop-less petticoat for $100 (you can put a hoop in it if you would like to but I didn't think the dress needed it but there is a seam for it in the petticoat) and matching beaded organza belt for $120 (unless sold prior).
